Here the 7.45 mile long and very steep stretch up to the Pragel Pass (5085 ft) begins.

On the small and lightly-traffic road there are climbs to be overcome that stretch for miles with maximum gradients of 15% to 20% .

We start our 104 km long bicycle tour in Sölden in Ötztal at 1,368 m above sea level.

On the well constructed road we drive to the village of Zwieselstein (1,470m).

On this stretch of road we have to overcome short ascents of 8%.

Shortly after Zwieselstein the road that now gets steeper turns to the left in the direction of Hochgurgl (2,154m) and the toll station (2,171m).
From the toll station to the Timmelsjoch (2,509m) there are approximately 12 km.
