3 Seen Runde - Mond-, Atter- und Wolfgangsee

The village Mondsee (1601 ft), situated at the lake of the same name in Upper Austria, is the starting point of this 48 mile long and with 3445 ft in altitude moderate tour.

Whilst enjoying the beautiful view over the lake Mondsee, we cycle the first 5 miles on an almost even stretch of road alongside the western bank to Scharfling (1579 ft).

Here we cross the federal state boundary to the Land Salzburg and follow the 1 mile long steepening road up to the Scharflinger Höhe (1969 ft),  where inclines of more than 10% have to be overcome.

Gaichtpass Cycle Tour

The starting point of this scenically unique tour, which is apart from the last road stretch moderate, is Tannheim in the Tannheimer Valley in Tyrol.

The stretch is almost 35 miles long and approximately 1640 ft in altitude have to be overcome.

To begin with we ride on an almost even stretch of road on the B199 towards Haldensee until we get to a junction where we turn to Pfronten in the Allgäu.

Easily we tackle the first short ascent of up to 8% at the village Grän.

From Sölden via Passo del Rombo to St. Leonhard and back

We start our 104 km long bicycle tour in Sölden in Ötztal at 1,368 m above sea level.

On the well constructed road we drive to the village of Zwieselstein (1,470m).

On this stretch of road we have to overcome short ascents of 8%.

Shortly after Zwieselstein the road that now gets steeper turns to the left in the direction of Hochgurgl (2,154m) and the toll station (2,171m).
From the toll station to the Timmelsjoch (2,509m) there are approximately 12 km.

At first we ride on this well built road in the high mountains rapidly downhill.
